COLLABORATIVE LAW PROFESSIONALS
N.J. Mediation Center, LLC’s Director, Jenny A. Puchta, CPA, CVA, APM has completed
collaborative law training and is available to serve as a financial professional
to assist parties and their counsel in the divorce process. The collaborative law
model utilizes a cooperative model of negotiation and works with impartial experts
to resolve conflict. Currently, in our area, the collaborative law model is used
primarily in family and divorce cases.
Collaborative law is about working together to resolve differences in a constructive
manner. Collaborative professionals include legal, financial, mental health professionals
as well as other professionals (such as mortgage brokers, real estate agents, etc.)
who assist the parties with their respective expertise.
Collaborative professionals help resolve divorce disputes, non-marital dissolutions,
pre-nuptial and post-nuptial disputes. They help parties in an effective and timely
process to rise above their differences come to resolutions that are fair, reasonable
and satisfy all participating parties.
